The 55th Sydney International Boat Show will take over the Sydney International Convention Centre (ICC) and Cockle Bay Marina Darling Harbour with more than 600 boats and a myriad of marine, boating and fishing products on display, alongside an array of entertainment and informative presentations.
Boating Industry Association Ltd (BIA) President Adam Smith said the show has become an influential and important platform for the marine industry, with many Asia–Pacific and international companies opting to use the Sydney International Boat Show as a platform to unveil new products and vessels.
“For more than half a century, the BIA and its partners have worked hard to enhance and strengthen the show’s reputation, locally and globally.
“We’re delighted the show is now formally recognised as one of the stand-out boat shows in the world, where leading global marine businesses and companies choose to debut new products and vessels to the international market,” he remarked.
New to the Australian market is the Pearl Yachts’ Pearl 62, on display for the first time since its arrival in the country in November 2023. Known for its innovative design and luxurious comfort, the Pearl 62 is a seamless blend of elegance and practicality, offering a unique yachting experience.
At 18.6 metres and featuring a sleek, modern yacht design, the Pearl 62 stands out in its class for offering luxurious accommodations for eight guests across four cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite with a private entrance, and the choice of a crew cabin or jetski garage.
Key features include an aft galley that opens to the cockpit, an expansive flybridge and a foredeck lounge. Enhanced with Volvo IPS pod-drive propulsion, including joystick control and station-keeping function for effortless owner-operated maneuvering, the Pearl 62 exemplifies compact luxury and innovation.

In global launches, Flagship International will unveil the Schaefer V44, showcasing a flat, single-level cockpit complemented by two expansive hydraulic balconies that transform into a spectacular beach club.
This vessel combines practicality with innovation, featuring a versatile roof design and multiple power options including IPS, stern-drive or outboard engines. Designed for balance and comfort, it boasts a spacious cockpit with a multifunctional sunlounge and an innovative roof providing ample shade and weather protection.
In addition, the team from Flagship International will unveil designs for the Silver Yachts’ SilverCat series. Designed by Espen Øino, these customisable catamarans range from 22 metres to 39 metres, crafted from lightweight aluminium for durability and precision.
Featuring Volvo IPS or shaft-driven propulsion, they promise efficiency and environmental responsibility. Silver Yachts’ SilverCat series sets a new benchmark in contemporary yacht craftsmanship.
Flagship International are central agents for the lavish charter yacht, Bluestone, a 31-metre Nomad 101 from Gulf Craft with accommodation and amenities for 10 guests that will be on display as part of their line-up.
The other significant charter yacht on show at SIBS 2024 will be Shadow, the recently refit 100-foot, Italian-built vessel that is managed and maintained by Chapman, who will host a series of events for clients and industry to showcase their 360-degree offering.
Set to turn heads as it has the world-over, Australia’s first Azimut 60 Magellano will premiere at SIBS, presented by d’Albora Marine and exhibited alongside the Azimut 60 Flybridge.
Described as a crossover, the Magellano line is a semi-displacement product designed for extended cruising. It features a trademark dual-model hull providing two efficient speeds rather than one, while also having a top speed of 26 knots. This means you have both efficient and stable cruising at a low and medium speed and the ability to get home quickly.
Horizon Yacht Australia will have the much-anticipated, AMSA 2C-certifed FD80 on show, designed and built to suit the Australian boating lifestyle and ready for charter.
The four-cabin layout with a full-beam master stateroom on the main deck accommodates up to eight guests. Well-planned spacious deck areas include a split-use skylounge and bridge deck aft that are ideal for socialising and entertaining.
From Princess Yachts, the immaculate Princess V55 combines sleek lines with high performance and features a dynamic exterior profile and intelligent use of space. According to Director of Princess Yachts Australia, Greg Haines, “The V55 offers luxury throughout and is perfect for cruising around the harbour or the picturesque waters of Pittwater.”
Sydney Marine Brokerage and CL Yachts will host the Sydney debut of the CLB65. “We’re excited to be part of the show and are looking forward to introducing the CLB65, said Andrew Withers, Dealer Principal. “We had such a great response to the boat at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
“Many people we met at Sanctuary Cove expressed interest in other models, including the new CLB80, and it will be the ideal opportunity for them to discuss these in depth with Martin Lo, Director and Designer at CL Yachts, who will attend the show.”
E Marine Motor Yachts presents the Sabre Yachts’ latest design, the Sabre 43SE. Since 2006, Sydney’s E Marine has exclusively imported and represented Maine’s renowned Sabre Yachts.
The 43SE introduces a fresh design approach, featuring a spacious saloon with generous seating, a half-up galley equipped with modern amenities, and a versatile hybrid lounge below deck. This model blends traditional Downeast heritage with contemporary innovation.
From The Yacht Sales Co., Iliad Catamarans will showcase the 53F, the model that recently won the 2024 Multihull of the Year in the MultiPower category.
Sealegs amphibious boats will have three boats on show at SIBS, including the Sealegs 3.8 and 6.5. “The 3.8 Tender has gone into full production and is attracting a lot of interest,” said Michael Rigby, Australian Sales Manager.
“It’s the ideal tender for mid-size motor yachts like the new Riviera 68 – it’s electric-powered, quiet, easy to get in and out of the water and access the beaches, and it fits neatly into a motor yacht garage.
Rigby added, “A lot of our Sealegs models are going electric, which offers owners a lot more torque and a quieter on-land experience.”
Sirocco Marine will exhibit in the ICC Hall with 36 models of the latest RIBs from Brig and Zodiac, including the larger models up to 9 metres, along with Williams Jet Tenders and their own Sirocco-branded RIBs.
Eyachts will premiere two of the fastest-growing brands worldwide, Axopar and Pardo, offering enthusiasts a glimpse into the future of boating.

Ray White Marine, representing Ferretti Group brands, will exhibit five vessels, among them, the limited-edition Riva Anniversario – the 33-foot open powerboat that pays tribute to the brand’s 180-year history and is limited to just 18 models – as well as the Riva 52 Rivale, Ferretti Yachts 500, Ferretti Yachts 670 and Ferretti Yachts 720, along with the electrifying Rolls-Royce Spectre, priced at AUD$1,100,000.

Fleming Yachts Australia anticipates another strong Sydney show, and is looking forward to presenting the Fleming 55 My Lady, which was on display in 2023.
Ensign Yachts will present the 2024 European Yacht of the Year, the Bavaria C46. The first in Australia and an impressive addition to Bavaria’s C-Line of sailing yachts.
The innovative new hull chines and V-bow that have been introduced in the latest C-Line models improve sailing characteristics while also adding interior volume into the bright and airy cabins. MW Marine will debut the Jeanneau DB37, which promises to make a lasting impression with its expansive layout. Enhanced by twin drop-down alfresco balconies, the cockpit area is an inviting space for summer relaxation. The vessel offers spacious walkways leading to a breathtaking bow sunlounge.
Inside, the DB37 boasts a luxurious twin-berth layout equipped with modern amenities and advanced technology. Powered by a robust engine configuration and an innovative Michael Peters-designed hull, it delivers exceptional performance, stability and fuel efficiency.
Mercury Marine, a division of Brunswick Corporation, is unveiling two new low-voltage electric outboards, the Avator 75e and 110e, to the Australian market at the Sydney International Boat Show. The 75e and 110e complete Mercury’s five-model lineup of low-voltage electric propulsion and bring Avator’s innovative features and intuitive use to a higher power level.
Mercury Marine will also be launching the 8-hp and 9.9-hp EFI Prokicker Outboards, featuring an advanced Mercury electronic fuel injection (EFI) system designed to provide boaters, fishing enthusiasts and pro anglers with easy starts and efficient performance.
Iron Boats Australia introduces the Iron 827 Coupe, a fibre-glass vessel engineered for all-weather versatility. Pantaenius Yacht Insurance is a regular exhibitor at SIBS, and Jamie MacPhail, Pantaenius Australia Managing Director, said they will exhibit in the Halls in their usual place, with a focus on customer service. “We’ll be there to field questions from customers and potential customers, and the various policy options we offer sailing and motor yachts.”
