The International SeaKeepers Society has announced the launch of its new limited-edition fragrance ‘Seakeeper’, created with NZ-based The Virtue.

The unique and highly anticipated new fragrance: ‘Seakeeper’ – A Perfume with a Purpose, which has been created in partnership with the New Zealand Perfumery, will officially launch on October 30, at the SeaKeepers Founders Dinner in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
Turning each bottle into a tangible act of support for marine health, proceeds from the purpose-driven perfume will support SeaKeepers’ ocean conservation initiatives across the South Pacific.
‘Seakeeper’ was inspired by New Zealand’s wild west coast, and is built on five precise notes – sea salt, saffron, jasmine, white oak, and cedar – making it sharp, modern, and enduring at once.
Elegantly referred to as memory, heritage, and purpose captured in scent, for Founder and Creative Director Brooke Lean, ‘Seakeeper’ is also very personal – a quiet tribute to her late dad, affectionately known as Daisy, whose life was tied to the sea and who passed away earlier this year.

“Seakeeper is really close to my heart,” says Brooke. “It speaks to our shared responsibility for the oceans and honours my love of the sea.
“The collaboration timing was perfect, an easy yes – for the sea, and for my Dad” she adds.
When asked to describe the fragrance, Brooke offers: “The Sea is the Sea, this is the scent”.
An avid surfer, having grown up in Taranaki, the ocean is something very special to Brooke.
“Seakeeper captures the place where the land gives way to the ocean. It’s wild, raw, and magnetic – everything arrives at once,” she says.
Sea Salt — clean, mineral, sharp. A saline clarity.
Saffron — bitter, golden, unexpected. The twist beneath the surface.
Jasmine — light, fleeting, clear. A familiar breath.
White Oak — dry, grainy, strong. The frame that steadies.
Cedar — resinous, linear, lasting. The scent that remains.
The Virtue ‘Seakeeper’ is limited edition. Pre-orders are now open online, and Seakeeper will be available online and instore for purchase from October 30. RRP NZ $275 and NZ $50 from each 50ml bottle purchased goes directly to support ocean conservation through the Seakeepers Society efforts.
