Tickets for the 32nd Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS), scheduled for this year from 20–23 May, are now on sale.

Held at Gold Coast’s Sanctuary Cove, the 2021 SCIBS is set to continue the tradition set in previous years, showcasing a diverse collection of vessels, ranging from high-end superyachts through to trailer boats alongside the latest in gear and gadgets.

Also planned for the event are exhibitions from industry-leading brands and thousands of new products as well as interactive demonstrations, live music, a dedicated kids’ zone and street performances.

This year’s edition will also see the introduction of a new limited luxury VIP experience: The Lagoon Lounge.

Overlooking the newly completed Superyacht Marina arm and the Lagoon Pool at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove Resort, The Lagoon Lounge is an exclusive space that includes private, custom-designed corporate cabanas for up to 10 guests, tailored menus that celebrate local cuisine and premium beverage packages – all served by personal food and beverage waiters.

“SCIBS has proven to be the foremost event on the southern hemisphere’s boating and lifestyle calendar, so it is only fitting that we continue to ramp up our VIP offerings that cater to those looking for an exclusive and luxurious experience,” said SCIBS general manager, Johan Hasser.

“We gather the best in marine innovation, but we are so much more than a boat show. Each year our team strives to create a memorable four days of live entertainment, gourmet food and drink offerings, and enticing activations the entire family can partake in, all of which play part in the quintessential marine lifestyle,” he added.

One-day general admission tickets can now be purchased online at an early bird rate of $23 plus booking fees while children under 16 will be admitted free.

A limited number of VIP passes providing exclusive access to The Lagoon Lounge are now available, starting from $199 per day plus booking fees.

Founded in 1989 as the Queensland International Boat Show, the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show is one of the most premier marine events in the Southern Hemisphere. Held over four days, the event attracts 47 000 visitors and over 330 exhibitors while also hosting hundreds of boats and thousands of marine products.
