The Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition has been announced as a finalist in the 2024 Best of Boats Award at the recent Cannes Yachting Festival in France. This award is one of the largest international motorboat accolades and recognises boats across a variety of categories.
Riviera Australia is the only non-European manufacturer represented in the ‘Best of Big Boats’ category, alongside finalists from Spain, the United Kingdom, Sweden and Greece. The winners will be announced on Thursday 28 November 2024, during a ceremony at the Boat & Fun Boat Show in Berlin, which runs from 28 November to 1 December.
The Best of Boats Award is the largest award for motorboats in the number of countries represented, together with the number of magazines and judging panel members involved. As the only worldwide motorboat award, the Best of Boats Award covers all European and international water sports regions.
The Best of Boats Award was launched in 2014 by boating journalists from many countries and different editorial offices with two things in common: very extensive experience as boat testers and a particular interest in the practical needs of boaters.

The Riviera 4600 Sport Yacht Platinum Edition belongs to a line-up that includes the 5400, 6000, and 6800 models. Its key features include a hydraulic swim platform offering access to a garage equipped for storing water sports gear, an aft deck designed for entertaining with a wrap-around lounge, timber dining table, barbecue, and wet bar unit. A sliding glass door and awning window connect the saloon and aft deck, creating a unified space for relaxation and entertainment.
The U-shaped galley is equipped with modern amenities, and the dining area seats up to six people. Accommodation includes three staterooms and two bathrooms, with a full-beam master suite featuring a king-size bed and large windows for natural light.
Propulsion for the yacht comes from twin Volvo Penta D8-IPS800 engines, each delivering 441kW (600hp).
