Riviera is presenting 10-model showcase at the 2023 Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), which runs 25 to 29 October in Florida.
Among the highlights of the Riviera line-up is the Americas’ premiere of the new 585 SUV – marking 10 years of development since the brand’s first Sea Utility Vehicle (SUV) model hit the water.
In addition, Riviera introduces the 46 Sports Motor Yacht for its Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show premiere. The new model features multiple entertaining spaces and a large, open flybridge.
Riviera’s collection now includes 22 blue-water yachts ranging from 39 to 78 feet across the flagship Motor Yacht, Sports Motor Yacht, Sport Yacht, SUV and Belize collections.
“Our 2023 Rivera showcase at Fort Lauderdale will provide a special opportunity for visitors to fully appreciate the exceptional quality, practicality, and luxury across our range, the finest yachts we have built over the past 43 years, and all in one amazing location,” says Riviera Australia owner Rodney Longhurst.
“For our yacht owners within the Riviera family of the Americas, we will be hosting an exclusive VIP reception during the show to celebrate our premiere yachts and the Riviera family.
“On behalf of our 900-strong team in Australia and at our headquarters in Stuart, Florida, we will be proud to welcome our yacht owners and visitors to our spectacular showcase from October 25.”
Riviera says the new 585 SUV is the culmination of a decade of development during the launch of more than 220 SUV yachts since its first SUV, the 445 model, was launched in 2012.
The 585 SUV has three large staterooms and three bathrooms, as well as a space aft of the full-beam midships master suite that can be configured as a utility room, laundry, crew quarters or additional accommodation with its own bathroom.
Entertaining spaces include a cockpit that opens out to the boarding platform to create a water-sports space, a semi-enclosed alfresco deck and an inviting foredeck entertaining zone with a wrap-around lounge.
The interior is decorated with premium fabrics, hand-finished exotic timber cabinetry and plush carpet in all staterooms.
The new 585 SUV is powered by twin Volvo Penta D13 IPS 1200s, rated at 900 hp (662 kW) each, or twin Volvo Penta D13 IPS 1350s, rated at 1000 hp (735 kW) each.
The new 46 Sports Motor Yacht offers many of the design features of the SMY range, including multiple entertaining spaces that range from the boarding platform to foredeck sun lounges and an open flybridge that can accommodate eight guests.
A covered alfresco deck forward of the cockpit expands the saloon living space through a sliding glass door and awning window that connects guests with the galley and dining spaces forward. A timber staircase leads to the open flybridge with aft helm and lounges forward.
The yacht’s accommodation deck offers three double staterooms and two bathrooms. The master stateroom and ensuite bathroom are forward, while guest staterooms are amidships.
Power aboard the 46 Sports Motor Yacht is provided by twin Volvo Penta D8-IPS800s delivering 441kW (600hp) each. Owners can select optional Volvo Penta D11 IPS950s delivering 533kW (725hp) each.
“We’re looking forward to welcoming you aboard to discover our magnificent lineup of Riviera luxury motor yachts from 39 to 78 feet, including the Americas premiere of the new 585 SUV and the Fort Lauderdale premiere of the 46 Sports Motor Yacht,” says Longhurst.
“We’ll be at the Bahia Mar Yachting Center, C Dock – Green Zone in Fort Lauderdale from 25 to 29 October 2023.”
Riviera’s SUVs – ranging from 39 to 64 feet in length -– combine the adventurous spirit and sporting cockpit of the Sports Motor Yachts with the single-level living features enjoyed by Sport Yacht owners. The showcase at FLIBS 2023 includes the 465 and 505 alongside the premiere of the 585.
The Riviera SMYs provide sporting looks with an all-water sports cockpit and sports performance. The 64 and 50 Sports Motor Yachts will feature beside the new 46.
Flowing single-level indoor-outdoor spaces are available in the 6000, 5400 and 4600 models in the Sport Yacht Platinum edtions.
Celebrating the heritage design that started the Riviera marque, the 43 open flybridge offers a wide and open cockpit suited for a range of water sports.
