The Italian Sea Group has launched M/Y Raja², a 55-metre aluminium Admiral superyacht from the S-Force line. The launch took place at the company’s Marina di Carrara headquarters in Italy, and was attended by the owner, local authorities and members of The Italian Sea Group board. The yacht has a beam of 8.6 metres and a gross tonnage of 499 GT, and delivery is scheduled for the first half of 2025.
“M/Y Raja² embodies bold and sophisticated luxury, combining exquisite materials and harmonious contrasts to create a unique and exclusive experience,” says Gianmaria Costantino, CCO of The Italian Sea Group.
“Every detail is designed to offer not only beauty but also comfort and functionality.”
Designed by The Italian Sea Group’s in-house Style Centre and managed by IYC and Med Waves Charters, M/Y Raja² features a streamlined exterior and a contemporary interior layout.
Xenia Tsipidou, IYC head of charter management Greece, says: “We are beyond proud to be adding Raja² to our charter management fleet based out of Athens. We are certain that Raja² will be a super successful charter yacht and will create unforgettable moments for both owners and charterers.”
M/Y Raja² features a dynamic profile with expansive glass surfaces. The yacht’s open stern provides direct access to the water, and its sundeck includes a Jacuzzi and several sunbathing areas. The upper deck features a circular lounge that converts into a touch-and-go helipad, while the yacht’s garage accommodates an 8-metre tender and a selection of water toys.
The interior design incorporates high-contrast materials, including Black Marquina and Calacatta Gold marble, as well as White Carrara and Port Saint Laurent marble. Glossy Canaletto walnut contrasts with sandblasted Dark Chocolate oak, while natural-toned leathers are accented with deep red and burnt orange hues. Mirrored surfaces, as requested by the owner, enhance the sense of openness.
“It is very exciting to see this beautiful project take shape,” says Michel Chryssicopoulos, IYC global managing partner.
“Raja²’s extraordinary interiors, along with her striking exterior lines and colour, will make this yacht a head-turner. We are wishing her new proud owners great times on board.”
M/Y Raja² is powered by two CAT C32 Acert engines, reaching a maximum speed of 18 knots and a cruising speed of 16.5 knots. It has a range of 3,500 nautical miles at 10 knots. The yacht accommodates up to 12 guests in six cabins, with space for 11 crew members in six crew cabins.
Listed on Euronext Star Milan, The Italian Sea Group operates the Admiral, Tecnomar, Perini Navi and Picchiotti brands, with a dedicated refit division, NCA Refit. The group has partnered with Italian luxury brands, including Giorgio Armani for yacht design and Automobili Lamborghini for the limited-edition Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 motor yacht.
According to the Global Order Book 2025 by Boat International, The Italian Sea Group is the leading Italian builder of superyachts over 50 metres.
