Twin Disc and the Italian Shipyard Filippetti Yacht have formed a partnership to power all Filipetti Performance Yachts with the Arneson Surface Drives system.

The Arneson Surface Drives System (ASD) will be set up on all the Filippetti Sport range from 55’ to 75’ and the Flybridge range, when customer chooses the configuration with surface propellers.

Thanks to the use of ASD technology, the Filippetti Shipyard is able to improve maximum performance, which will excite owners who want to reach speeds in excess of 40 knots.

The Arneson Drives System provides performance and shallow draft on the Filippetti Sport and Flybridge series.

“Today’s customers are looking for performance along with sea keeping and the ability to get into secluded areas that require a minimum shallow draft,” said Giovanni Filippetti, Heads of Filippetti.

This agreement continues the long relationship with Twin Disc since 1985 when Fausto Filippetti first founded Pershing Yachts. Fausto was the first builder to install Arneson Surface Drives system on a luxury performance yacht in Italy.
