And while Riviera’s 12-model display was the highlight of the show for a great number of visitors, many more went home with fond memories and valuable knowledge gleamed from the impressive offering of educational workshops and social events.
“Being part of the Riviera Family is a way of life for our 5,400 yacht owners around the world and our team are very proud to have welcomed multiple new owners into the family over the course of the 2019 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show,” said Mr Longhurst.
Centred around the Riviera Motor Yacht Club, a two-level 45-metre superyacht moored within the massive showcase, the eight Riviera Festival of Boating also held at Sanctuary Cove offered a unique program of more than 30 boating seminars and hands-on workshops including Ask the Experts panels, Fishing Clinic and Offshore Seamanship.
The hugely popular ‘Living the Riviera Dream’ seminar, this year was presented by David and Lis Paton who recently completed a significant circumnavigation and live-aboard adventure of Tasmania on their Riviera 53 Enclosed Flybridge, Pascua Luma.
The Riviera Motor Yacht Club also lured foodies when renowned television cook Sally Jenyns showed an enthusiastic audience how to cook a simple but delicious banquet aboard their yachts in her Galley Wise – Planning and Provisioning seminar.
