Greek boatbuilder Technohull has introduced enhancements to the Omega 47, incorporating a new carbon hardtop and refined interior features.

First launched in 2021, the Omega 47 is constructed in Technohull’s facilities located south of Athens, Greece. The updates to the model include the addition of a carbon hardtop and incremental changes to the interior design.

The new hardtop reflects a design evolution initially introduced with the Alpha 50 and Alpha 40 models, integrating an expansive full-glass windscreen that aligns with the model’s overall silhouette.

The fresh design also improves aerodynamics, supporting the vessel’s performance capabilities. The Omega 47 retains its patented Dynastream two-step hull, which offers high-speed cruising with optimised handling and seaworthiness.

In addition, a new engine configuration includes quad 500hp, 4.6-litre V8 Mercury Racing 500R outboards, which enhance performance while maintaining comfort and efficiency.

Interior updates include the addition of new colour schemes and materials to create a lighter and more spacious feel. The cabin retains key features such as a large V-berth, complemented by a couch for added comfort, natural light through deck ports, and a full-height ensuite head with a shower.

The Omega 47’s exterior remains focused on functionality and comfort. Full walkaround decks allow for ease of movement, and the vessel accommodates up to 12 passengers.

Features include two triple rows of shock-absorbing helm seats, a foredeck cockpit with seating, sunpads, and sun tents with carbon poles. The aft cockpit offers a convertible leather settee that transitions into a sunpad. On-deck amenities include a wet bar equipped with a fridge and espresso machine, alongside an audio system and ambient LED lighting.

The helm position features an ergonomic design with digital switching for system monitoring and control. The Omega 47 retains a flexible transom capable of accommodating various inboard and outboard propulsion systems. The hull design ensures a low planning speed for comfortable cruising, catering different uses, including day trips, island-hopping, or as a superyacht chase boat.

“The Omega 47 is a key model for Technohull, blending the ideas of ‘sporty’ and ‘superyacht’ in a single, safe yet exhilarating luxury boat,” says Gerasimos Petratos, CEO of Technohull.

“By applying our new design philosophy to the hardtop, and enhancing the interior, we have made subtle but incremental enhancements that further cement the Omega 47 as the ultimate choice whether you’re looking for superyacht comfort in a high-performance cruiser or want a high-speed luxury tender or chase boat for your superyacht.”
