Italian shipyard Columbus Yachts has commenced the self-financed construction of a new Columbus Atlantique 37-metre superyacht at its Savona shipyard.
This aluminium superyacht, slated for delivery in 2027, is the latest addition to the Columbus Atlantique series. It will join the first unit of the 37-metre model and the Columbus Crossover 42-metre, also under construction at Palumbo Superyachts Savona.
The vessel’s external lines and interior design are by Hot Lab, with naval engineering managed by the shipyard. The design integrates stylistic, planning, and functional elements intended for maritime travel, with a focus on enhancing the onboard experience.
The yacht features clean, elegant external lines with a sporty aspect, and the hull silhouette draws inspiration from traditional sailing yachts. The stern area includes a panoramic pool situated 50 centimetres above sea level.
The Columbus Atlantique 37-metre has a gross tonnage of 299 GT and a sporty exterior that complements its refined interiors. The layout includes four double cabins with private bathrooms below deck and a master cabin at the bow of the main deck. The master cabin is equipped with a fixed terrace, double-sink bathroom, large central shower, and walk-in closet.
The yacht offers two dining areas: one outdoor on the main deck and another on the upper deck, which seats up to 10 people. The upper deck features large rounded windows with up/down and sliding mechanisms designed to maximise interaction with the surrounding marine environment.
The garage is located on the starboard side and accommodates a 5.03-metre tender and a rescue boat. The Columbus Atlantique 37m is equipped with a semi-planing hull and powered by two MAN 2000hp engines, allowing it to reach a maximum speed of 22 knots and cruise comfortably at 19 knots.
The Atlantique line has seen significant market interest, with this being the fifth unit that Columbus Yachts has put into production.
Columbus Yachts is part of the Palumbo Superyachts network, which also includes ISA Yachts, Mondomarine, and Extra Yachts.
Palumbo Superyachts established the Columbus Yachts brand in 2008, launching its first 54-metre superyacht, Prima, in 2011. Columbus Yachts offers four distinct lines: Atlantique, Sport, Classic, and Crossover, plus custom projects.
