Joachim Howard, founder and managing director of Ocean Alliance, commented on the new platform: “We’re thrilled to introduce the Charter Experience Hub, designed to make charter planning as interactive and enjoyable as possible.
“The positive feedback from clients and captains has been encouraging. After a meticulous period of development, we are delighted to already be seeing the positive impact this has on charter coordination.”
The Charter Experience Hub was developed in-house by Ocean Alliance’s tech team, with input from real-world charter planning scenarios. It was successfully piloted in June 2024, with trials showing it improved planning efficiency and client satisfaction.
Dan Farrell, captain of charter yacht De Lisle III, which contributed to the platform’s development, stated: “As a charter captain for over ten years, the Charter Experience Hub by Ocean Alliance is a game changer for the industry. It is a great tool to help us streamline the planning process while also extracting as much valuable information about the group as possible.
“It was great to have been consulted during the development and to now see how it is already improving the experience for both our team and the guests.”
Ocean Alliance specialises in creating tailored itineraries, and the Charter Experience Hub leverages collected information to customise each charter to meet clients’ specific preferences. The platform will continue to evolve through user feedback.
