At the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024, Fountaine Pajot announced a brand-new model of motor yacht, designed in collaboration with Couach and named the Code 07.

Building on more than 20 years’ expertise in motor yachts, Fountaine Pajot is teaming up with the Couach shipyard to launch a new brand, whose name will be unveiled at the Miami 2025 International Boat Show. A bold step forward in luxury motor yachts.

Its designers promise “A 100 percent motor pedigree for a stunning experience. Technology and sleek elegance combine to meet all your requirements and for a new connection with the ocean.”

Features include a master suite enlarged by an extension that can be converted into a children’s cabin or a large dressing room at the bow of the boat.

The two guest cabins, each with its own ensuite shower room, also offer panoramic sea views. A skipper’s cabin, with separate toilet, is fitted in the forepeak.

“The Code 07 sets a new trend in motor catamaran design, more Motor Yacht than ever. The large openings make it easier to move around on board, and provide the cabins with plenty of natural light. It offers comfortable, modular living spaces, with cabins offering panoramic views and layouts designed for conviviality and intimacy.”

Also in Cannes, the Fountaine Pajot Group reported a record business volume of 300-metres for 2023/24, with success from its three brands: Dufour, Fountaine Pajot sailing yachts and Fountaine Pajot motor yachts.

A 3rd Thíra 80 was delivered in August and almost 500 Isla 40s launched for Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans; the Dufour 41 recieved two awards (British Yachting Awards and US Sail Best Boat) and the shipyard celebrated its 60th anniversary; and there was an increase in the production rate and the industrial maturity of the Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts brand, at the Gujan-Mestras industrial site, ensuring the delivery of the doubling of sales and to meet the quality requirements of the ambitious Fountaine Pajot Motor Yachts/Couach project.

At the show, Fountaine Pajot revealed three new models – a new 41-foot catamaran by Fountaine Pajot Sailing Catamarans which will premiere in Cannes and Annapolis in 2025, the Dufour 48 which will launch in spring 2025, and the collaboration with Couach, the Code 07.

The Group stated that it was “on course towards decarbonisation”, with a plan for 2025, and for the decarbonisation of sailing in particular, with a growing number of models featuring Smart Electric hybrid drivetrains (around 30 are already sailing).

“This sector of the activity is also developing externally, with charter companies and boatbuilders in the market adopting this solution.”
