The project is the result of a collaboration between Alia Yachts, Vripack and SF Yachts, who played a key role as coordinator between the designers, the builders and the owner’s guidelines.

“I am very pleased to be part of this 55-metre yacht project and look forward to building it alongside Vripack and Alia Yachts shipyard,” said Francesco Pitea, CEO of SF Yachts.

With delivery scheduled for Summer 2021, Project Al Waab II will be unveiled to the media at a dedicated press presentation during the 2019 Monaco Yacht Show featuring further details and visuals.

Alia will also introduce its flagship, the 60-metre MY Samurai at the Monaco Yacht Show in September.

Launched in 2016, Samurai features exterior styling by Omega Architects, naval architecture by van Oossanen and interior design by Redman Whiteley Dixon.

Ocean featured Samurai in June of this year.

Alia President Gökhan Çelik commented: “We’ve been sitting on the superyacht industry’s best-kept secret for the past three years”.

“In terms of overall design and construction quality, Samurai demonstrates what we’re capable of and I’m delighted we finally have this opportunity to show her off to the yachting world.”
