Four times a charm
A yachting connoisseur has made his fourth consecutive purchase from UAE shipyard Gulf Craft, this time the 47.6-metre Sehamia, hull two in the Majesty 155 series.

This latest purchase is a step up, as Gulf Craft’s largest completed yacht model to date.
“Each yacht I’ve bought from Gulf Craft has been a joy to own,” explained the repeat client. “The build quality is outstanding and clients are treated with the utmost consideration. Working with the team to customise the Majesty 155 was a pleasure – I had different choices of luxurious materials and layout options to choose from.”
Indeed, Sehamia’s interior detailing features exquisite materials such as curly maple veneering and Statuario White marble in the owner’s cabin, as well as Miele appliances, Franke accessories and Bang & Olufsen entertainment technology throughout.
Even the counters, splashbacks and tabletops glisten with precious and semi-precious stones including amethyst, onyx, chrysoprase, jasper, and lapis lazuli.

Her eight well-proportioned staterooms can accommodate up to 18 people in comfort, with another five crew cabins to sleep nine. In a key change from the vessel’s predecessor, Escape, the owner’s stateroom is situated on the upper deck rather than the main deck.
Gulf Craft’s CEO, Erwin Bamps, calls their Majesty 155 model “a floating palace for refined, discerning owners who expect the same level of luxury on the ocean as they experience on land”.
Sehamia incorporates state-of-the-art technology, with the main structure built in advanced composites. Twin 2,011hp MTU engines allow for a top speed of 17.5 knots and a 14 knot cruising speed.
At the Asia Boating Awards this year the vessel was named ‘Best Asian-Built Yacht’ for its fine finishes and first-rate seagoing performance.
The Emirati shipyard’s trade-in policy offers existing Gulf Craft yacht owners a cost-effective upgrade possibility, another reason for their brand loyalty.
