MET’s strong start

The 2025 edition is already attracting significant exhibitor interest, according to organisers, with demand for stand space exceeding previous years and participation levels remaining high in the face of ongoing market challenges.

The event, organised by RAI Amsterdam in cooperation with the International Council of Marine Industry Associations (ICOMIA), will take place from 18 to 20 November 2025 in Amsterdam.

It is the world’s largest trade exhibition for equipment, materials, technology and systems in the global leisure marine industry, bringing together yacht builders, naval architects, refit yards, distributors, dealers, wholesalers, captains, marina owners and marine equipment manufacturers.

This year’s edition of the exhibition will expand by 8,000 square metres in Hall 8, dedicated to superyacht technology and refits, two sectors experiencing continued growth. The additional space will include a theatre showcasing industry trends and innovations, as well as a new restaurant aimed at facilitating networking.

While the superyacht sector is seeing an increased focus on advanced technology and refit solutions, the volume market remains stable despite wider economic conditions. Exhibitors from across the leisure marine sector have shown strong early commitment to the event. In 2024, the show recorded 31,824 visits from 19,779 unique visitors, excluding exhibition stand personnel.

The event will run alongside The Superyacht Forum, which takes place from 17 to 18 November 2025 at the RAI Convention Centre in Amsterdam.
