Ocean Independence has welcomed Tim Stranack and Blair MacLeod to the Ocean Independence Australasia team as Sales and Purchase Consultants. Tim Stranack is based in Sydney/Australia and Blair MacLeod in Auckland/New Zealand.

Tim has been involved in many facets of the yachting industry, from professional skippering, management and overseeing refits, liaising with shipyards, yacht owners, and waterfront construction, to family bluewater cruising. This has allowed him to gain a thorough understanding of the marine industry.
For the past 24 years, Tim has been a yacht broker. He has extensive knowledge and experience in interpreting the needs of yacht owners intending to purchase and/or sell their yacht. He places a high emphasis on listening carefully and acting on his client’s requirements.
Blair Is a professional yachtsman with 30 years in the superyacht business. He has experience providing yacht owners with all their yachting requirements including cruising schedules, managing maintenance and re-fit programs, crew management, new builds, vessel management and acquisitions. He is a specialist in the South Pacific region.
Blair has built a network of peers and associates in the business, giving him a key understanding of the marine market and its opportunities.
