Azimut Benetti Group has launched a series of initiatives, including the distribution of kits of personal protective equipment to hospitals, municipalities, voluntary associations, police officers, port authorities and other local entities working in the areas where the company operates in Piedmont, Liguria, Tuscany and Marche.

By donating personal protective equipment, which the company usually use for production purposes, the Group testifies to its solidarity and desire to play an active role in this difficult battle affecting everyone.

A dedicated team is working on an ongoing basis to procure, package and even deliver the kits personally with the help of generous co-worker volunteers.

“With this practical contribution,” said Group Chairman Paolo Vitelli, “we want to express our closeness with and gratitude to the local areas that have welcomed us and helped the Company to develop. Our ties with them today are stronger than they have ever been.”

Azimut Benetti is one of the world’s largest and most highly-reputed builder of superyachts, with operations in 80 countries and a network of 138 sales and customer service offices. Included in the Group is Lusben, leader in the refitting, and Yachtique, a division focusing exclusively on services reserved for shipowners.
