The Italian Sea Group has laid the keel of the Admiral 70-metre C.616, the latest model in the Admiral fleet.
The Italian Sea Group says the keel laying consolidated its position as a global player in the large yacht segment and highlights the group’s ongoing commercial expansion.
“When building a yacht, the keel-laying ceremony, a long-standing maritime tradition, is a moment of great emotion, both for the shipyard and for the owner company,” says Giovanni Costantino, founder and chief executive of The Italian Sea Group.
The Admiral 70-metre superyacht has been designed and developed by The Italian Sea Group Centro Stile and delivery is planned for 2027.
The exteriors of the Admiral 70-metre C.616 are characterised by elegant lines, ample outdoor living spaces and large windows, while the interior accommodations include a layout with seven VIP and guest cabins, including the full-beam master cabin, plus 10 crew cabins.
The firm says the new yacht underpins Admiral’s emphasis on the value of engineering, design, and high-quality standards.
Thanks to reduced greenhouse gas emissions, it balances “absolute comfort on board” while considering sustainability.
The Italian Sea Group specialises in the construction and refit of motor yachts and sailing yachts up to 140 metres.
The company, led by Costantino, operates the Admiral, Tecnomar, Perini Navi and Picchiotti brands.
The company also has a business unit named NCA Refit that manages the maintenance and refit services for yachts over 60 metres.
