The first Ferretti Yachts Infynito 80 unit has been launched at Ferretti Group’s new Ravenna production site, before its world premiere in September at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024.

The Italian shipyard, acquired in March 2023, will be fully operational from 2025 and is now home to five production lines for the Ferretti Yachts and Wally brands, with a 200-strong daily workforce.

The Infynito 80 joins the larger Infynito 90 and maintains the range’s signature characteristics, including flexible layouts and the popular all-season terrace.

Other features include an open or semi-open sundeck and generous outdoor surface areas covered and protected by the hard top or superstructure.

The Infynito 80 has a length overall of 23.7 metres (77-feet 9-inches) and a maximum beam of 6.32 metres (20-feet 9-inches).

It results from a collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee led by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, with exterior design by architect Filippo Salvetti and interiors by Ideaitalia.

The Infynito 80 also features the range’s F.S.E.A. technology (Ferretti Sustainable Enhanced Architecture), a package of sustainability-driven solutions designed to mitigate the damaging impacts of yachting.

They include a fast-displacement hull optimised to improve fuel efficiency and a focus on the use of materials such as natural fabrics, regenerated leather, recyclable materials, ecological water-based paints and lamellar teak with FSC 5 certification.

An integrated system stores the solar energy collected by the photovoltaic panels installed on the hardtop and on the roof of the terrace in an energy bank.

The interior design mood chosen for this unit is Contemporary, inspired by the fresh colour tones of the sea.

The upper deck on Infynito90 is replaced on this unit by a completely open sundeck, with a hardtop providing shade for the entire dining area and helm station. The stern area on the upper deck, reserved for sunbathing, is furnished with freestanding sun loungers.

The main deck layout features a main salon with twin face-to-face sofas and a TV that swings down from the ceiling. The galley occupies the forward section of the deck, with a recessed electric window that looks onto the terrace.

This terrace is sheltered by an extension to the superstructure for greater protection and privacy, offering a comfortable private space containing a dinette or bar area and a generous sofa.

The lower deck has four guest cabins, all with en-suite bathrooms, sleeping eight people. The crew area amidships can be entered privately from the walkway on the port side and contains two separate cabins sleeping three.

The first unit is fitted with optional twin MAN V12 – 1400 mhp engines and can reach a top speed of 22 knots and a cruising speed of 17 knots. The standard version with MAN V12 –1200 mhp engines has a top speed of 20 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots.

The yacht has a range of 1200 nautical miles at economy cruising speed (10 knots).
