On the flybridge, there is a multi-purpose area with an aft dining space featuring a C-shaped sofa that extends around both sides of the stern section and faces a table that can be extended to seat more guests. The huge sun pad on the starboard side of the bow area is fitted with a double backrest.
Alongside it, the exterior helm station has a new concept dashboard and the dedicated pilot seat. Incorporated into the design is the possibility of sheltering the living areas with a bimini top.
Another relaxation area in the bow has a central sun pad with optional reclining backrests for a 360-degree beach area experience.
Space and natural light
The glass door into the lounge ensures a seamless connection between exterior and interior, thanks in part to the tilting window, while the galley is strategically placed to serve the cockpit area as well.
The main deck has a spacious lounge area featuring two sofas and a multi-purpose table. The helm station has a brand new dashboard design that is compact and functional.
On the lower deck, there is the option of two different layouts: one with a spacious master cabin and a VIP cabin, both with private bathroom and small laundry, while the other includes a master cabin, a VIP cabin and a double with two single beds and two bathrooms.
The full-beam master cabin in the centre of the boat features novel design solutions, not least a mirror behind the bed that stretches across the entire width of the cabin, dramatically increasing the sense of space.
The layout also offers a TV area for screens up to 43 inches, plus roomy lockers and drawers. The basin top and shower walls in the master bathroom are clad in premium materials.
The other cabins reprise the design of the master cabin, making use of the same colours and exclusively Made in Italy materials.
The new Ferretti Yachts 500 is fitted with a pair of 550 mhp Cummins QSB 6.7 engines, for a top speed of 30 knots and a cruising speed of 25 knots.
