Greenline Yachts presented the Greenline 58 Fly Hybrid as its flagship model at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival, which ran from 10 to 15 September. The yacht features the H-Drive 6G hybrid system, which Greenline Yachts describes as its most efficient yet, offering a 40 per cent reduction in emissions compared to standard diesel models.
The Greenline 58 Fly Hybrid includes over 30 square metres of flybridge space, designed by naval architect Marco Casali, with options for two or three cabins and an additional captain’s cabin. The brand also showcased its Responsible Yachting concept, focusing on improved sustainability throughout the yacht’s design and construction.
The yacht’s flybridge offers multiple configurations for outdoor living, including an outdoor helm station, a bar, a six-person dining table, and space for loungers. The bathing platform can be lowered into the sea for swimming or used to carry a tender. The foredeck also features a movable backrest that allows the space to function as either a lounging area or a seating area.
The interior features a bright, open-plan saloon with large windows and an aft-positioned galley, which opens to the deck through a glass door and a swing-up window. The galley is equipped with fridges, a freezer, an induction cooktop and a dishwasher.
Greenline’s design incorporates sustainable materials such as recycled fibres and woods, as well as recycled PET foam, which the company says aligns with its ‘Responsible Yachting’ philosophy. The yacht offers two interior design options: one with light blues and whites, and another with warmer off-whites and beige tones.
Below deck, the owner’s suite occupies the full beam of the yacht, with natural light provided by large hull windows. The suite includes a king-size bed, a sofa, a walk-in wardrobe, and a separate bathroom with designer fittings. The VIP cabin at the bow also features an ensuite bathroom, while a third cabin can be configured as a twin or double, depending on the owner’s needs.
The Greenline 58 Fly Hybrid uses Greenline’s ‘superdisplacement’ hull design, offering speeds between 6 and 29 knots. The H-Drive 6G hybrid system allows the yacht to travel up to 20 nautical miles in electric mode at speeds of up to 6 knots, reducing emissions by up to 40 per cent.
The solar roof powers the yacht’s hotel services and can provide up to three days at anchor without needing to use a generator, extending to longer periods if air conditioning is not required.
As well as the Greenline 58 Fly Hybrid, Greenline Yachts also showed two of its best-selling models at the Cannes Yachting Festival: the Greenline 48 Coupe and the Greenline 45 Fly, which were both on the stand in Cannes’ Vieux Port. Both models are now available with a range of engine options that include Yanmar’s new HVO-ready diesels.
