Turkish yard Numarine has premiered M/Y Adonis, a customised 24-metre yacht created in collaboration of Furrion, a consumer electronics specialist, at the 2019 CES (Consumer Electronics Show) in Las Vegas, Nevada. This marks the first time a yacht has been displayed at the event, and as such an expansion into more marine concepts at the show.

Adonis is a luxury smart yacht – a concept that combines luxury with futuristic innovation and artificial intelligence. This yacht houses the best of Furrion’s technology, from audiovisual electronics and kitchen appliances, to camera observation and monitoring.

Furrion’s partnership with Numarine resulted in an entirely new experience on water. Furrion’s hardware and software solutions, combined with prestige boat building, aim to bring together artistry, design and advanced technology.

Adonis is equipped with the ultimate smart technology and assisted by virtual concierge ‘Angel’. Angel can deploy the drone to provide security surveillance of the surroundings or to take photos of moments and places upon voice command. It also integrates into audio and video technology and even galley, safety and observation operations.

Angel can deliver the news and weather, order food from the kitchen, control your morning playlist, guide you through a yoga workout and much more. Powered by artificial intelligence, it uses facial recognition to learn your personal preferences to customise your experience. Learning your preferences helps Angel suggest things you may like, whether a new activity at your destination, a new restaurant or perhaps a new outfit as it learns your sizes and recommends outfits from preferred retailers. On board Adonis there are several Furrion Smart Mirrors with an interactive display that works in the offline mode as well.

“Our concept fleet gives us the flexibility to showcase our innovation practically anywhere, and we are excited to unveil Adonis here at CES 2019,” said Matt Fidler, Furrion’s Co-Founder and Chief Marketing Officer.

“We are able to combine the best of our technology, design and futuristic innovation to deliver an experience unlike no other. The addition of our virtual concierge with artificial intelligence, Angel, gives consumers an always-present assistant, regardless of their internet connection.”

Adonis is the third concept design from Furrion Design. Furrion Design’s first concept vehicle was Elysium, the motorhome complete with a hot tub and helicopter on top, which was introduced at CES2017.
