Ferretti Yachts has introduced the Ferretti Yachts 800, a new flybridge model that completes the brand’s range renewal, which began in 2018.

The yacht was presented at boot Düsseldorf and is currently under construction at the Ferretti Yachts shipyard in Cattolica. The project is a collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee, led by Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department.

The Ferretti Yachts 800 has an overall length of 24.47 metres, with an alternative version featuring a shorter stern platform to comply with France’s 24-metre regulatory limit. The maximum beam measures 5.91 metres.

The exterior styling was developed by architect Filippo Salvetti, while IdeaeItalia has designed the interiors. The yacht incorporates large windows to maximise natural light and external views, with an optional sliding door on the starboard side of the saloon. The flybridge, covering 40 square metres, has been designed to optimise outdoor space.

The exterior design combines contemporary elements with the brand’s signature styling. The flybridge structure features a gradual slope towards the stern, differing from the traditional parallel alignment with the hull.

“With the introduction of a new aesthetic, one that’s particularly clear to see in the surface treatment,” says Filippo Salvetti.

“Of the yacht’s sides, the design of Ferretti Yachts 800 embraces a bold and functional approach that elegantly redefines the distribution of spaces between the main deck, the bridge and the flybridge.”

IdeaeItalia has focused on spatial planning and architectural choices, particularly on the main deck, where the galley has been configured to open onto both the main hallway and the helm station. The layout allows for separate guest and crew circulation. Key features include a day head on the main deck and, in the master cabin, a freestanding dressing table, a vanity area and a spacious ensuite.

“Our aim with Ferretti Yachts 800 is to breathe life into a boat concept that’s future-forward without sacrificing the brand’s signature refinement,” says IdeaeItalia. “It’s a project that redefines the on-board experience through solutions that combine aesthetics and functionality.”

The aft beach area covers seven square metres and features a fold-down sofa in the transom. The cockpit measures 15 square metres and includes a glass parapet to enhance views towards the beach club. The crew quarters, which include three separate cabins, are accessed from the port side walkway.

The saloon benefits from extensive glazing, allowing uninterrupted views of the surroundings. The ceiling height is two metres, and the interiors are available in two design schemes: Classic, which incorporates earthy tones, and Contemporary, which features lighter wood and fabric finishes.

The dining area seats eight guests, with a bulkhead partition that allows connection to the galley. The crew can access the galley via an external walkway, enabling a separate circulation route to the helm station, which can be enclosed for privacy.

Forward, the exterior living space covers 14 square metres and includes a sunbed and a forward-facing C-shaped sofa.

On the lower deck, the accommodation comprises a master suite measuring 18 square metres, a VIP cabin in the bow, and two guest cabins, accommodating a total of eight guests. Each cabin has its own ensuite.

The flybridge extends across 40 square metres and features a dining area to starboard, a bar unit to port, and freestanding furnishings by Talenti. The helm station is forward, with seating designed for comfort and visibility.

The Ferretti Yachts 800 is available with two engine options: a standard propulsion system with twin 1,550 HP MAN V12 engines, delivering a top speed of 27 knots and a cruising speed of 15 knots, or an optional upgrade to twin 1,800 HP MAN V12 engines, providing an estimated top speed of 31 knots and a cruising speed of 27 knots.
