The Italian Sea Group has launched the Perini Navi superyacht Fantasy, the brand’s fourth 59-metre motor yacht constructed from steel and aluminium, which was designed by French architect Philippe Briand. The group has also announced the development of a new Perini Navi motor yacht line.
Camper & Nicholsons’ new build division acted as technical surveyor and project manager for the Fantasy project, overseeing the construction process. The launch ceremony took place at the group’s La Spezia shipyard in northern Italy.
The yacht’s hull and superstructure lines are both by Philippe Briand, founder of the Vitruvius Yachts line. The interiors have been developed by Tara Bernerd & Partners.
With a beam of 9.8 metres and a gross tonnage of 800 GT, the yacht spans four decks and includes six guest cabins, as well as accommodation for up to eleven crew members.
Fantasy exemplifies the design of the Vitruvius Yachts fleet under the Picchiotti brand, which also includes the 50-metre M/Y Falco Moscata (formerly Exuma), the 55-metre M/Y Galileo G, and the 73-metre M/Y Nautilus (formerly Grace E). The yacht is scheduled for delivery in May 2025, with the fifth 59-metre Perini Navi motor yacht expected to be launched this week.
The Italian Sea Group will also introduce a new Perini Navi motor yacht line this year, developed by its Centro Stile. The range will integrate design elements inspired by sailing yachts with technical and stylistic updates. The models will range from 33 to 60 metres, including 40-metre and 50-metre versions.
“We decided to continue with the product strategy of the previous Perini Navi ownership, maintaining a vision that blends the timeless elegance of sailing with the comfort and performance of motor propulsion,” says Giovanni Costantino, founder & CEO of The Italian Sea Group.
“This new motor yacht line represents a natural evolution of the brand.
“As always, our focus remains on technology and innovation, integrating low environmental impact propulsion solutions, in line with our vision of sustainability and excellence.”
The new Perini Navi motor yacht line will be officially presented at the Monaco Yacht Show, scheduled from 24 to 27 September 2025.
The Italian Sea Group is a global operator in luxury yachting, listed on Euronext Star Milan, and involved in the construction and refit of motor yachts and sailing yachts up to 140 metres.
Led by Italian entrepreneur Giovanni Costantino, the company operates under the brands Admiral, Tecnomar, Perini Navi and Picchiotti, a historic Italian yachting brand. Its NCA Refit division manages maintenance and refit services for yachts over 60 metres.
