Slingsby is the first sailor ever to break 50 knots (100 kph) during racing in Season 1, and in SailGP Season 2, will be even more determined to beat his own record.

SAILGP SEASON 2 FACTS AND STATS

• SailGP Season 2 will take place in Sydney, 28 and 29 February 2020, with three races scheduled per day between 15:00 and 17:00
• Teams representing Australia, Denmark, France, Great Britain, Japan, Spain and the United States will go head to head over a series of short-format races
• The F50s are the world’s fastest sail racing boats – capable of reaching over 50 knots
