At this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival, professionals and enthusiasts can see almost 700 boats that the most prestigious French and international boat builders have just put the finishing touches to.
The Festival will open on Tuesday 10 September at 10 am for six exceptional days. The most beautiful gems in motor and sailing technology, the latest nautical equipment, the most high-end services and the brand-new marina dedicated to power boats up to 13 metres long will be unveiled for visitors’ greatest enjoyment.
“With two weeks to go until the Festival opens, we can’t wait to see our visitors and exhibitors. The Festival build started on 12 August,” said Festival Director Sylvie Ernoult.
“Everything is going well, the pontoons and tents are being set up to accommodate the boats and stands, thanks to the support of our partners and service providers.
“As has been the case every year, the Cannes Yachting Festival gets the season underway by unveiling an extremely eclectic offer. We will be proud to welcome nearly 700 boats including 120 world premieres and 640 exhibitors.
“Our visitors will be able to see the crème de la crème of the marine industry, with the most famous boat builders and equipment manufacturers, as well as newcomers to the industry, who all come to present their designs.”
The boat show will be organised between the Vieux Port and Port Canto with 355 new 12- to 45-metre motor boats in water with rigid or semi-rigid mono- or multihulls plus all the equipment manufacturers and service companies related to this industry on one side, and the sailing world on the other side in Port Canto, with 120 new monohull and multihull boats averaging 16 metres long, the brokerage sector with forty-five previously-owned boats from 25 metres long, and the water toys/toys area and the new Power Boat Marina, which will accommodate 175 boats under 13 metres.
As boat builders and equipment manufacturers are slowly but surely setting a course towards ecology and devoting a significant part of their budget to research and development, the increasing amount of eco-efficient innovations in the industry that respect the environment are promoted through the “Innovation Route” route, marked out by special signage for visitors to follow.
For the fourth year running, the Cannes Yachting Festival ticket desk will be fully digital; no tickets will be sold at the Festival entrances.
Visitors, professionals and journalists are invited to get their access badge before arriving. They must show it either printed out or on their smartphone.
For the occasion of the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024, the Louis Roederer Champagne house will be serving its “Collection 244 ” cuvée in the boat show’s VIP Clubs, which have been decorated by RocheBobois.
The By My Car group will provide the official car service. And that’s not forgetting our technical partners, Focus Yachts, Mercury, MG Energy Systems, Pantaenius, Pixelight and Yamaha, who contribute their specialist expertise and have been involved in the organisation of the boat show for many years.
All visitors and exhibitors can use the sea shuttle service which connects the two ports, with 3 boarding points in the Vieux Port and 2 points in Port Canto. Departures are every 15 minutes.
