Schaefer Yachts Australia Co-Founders Andy Young and Mark Johnston have invested heavily ahead of the Australian launch, with four models making their Australian debut at this year’s Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show (SCIBS).
The V33, 375 HT, 510 GTS and the 510 GT (Flybridge) were all on display at SCIBS 2022.
In total, 12 models are now available for order and can be delivered in time for summer. An additional model, the 400 will be launched at the Sydney International Boat Show, from 28 July to 1 August 2022.
Schaefer Yachts have set the pace in yacht building for over 25 years, manufacturing with five independent factories that have produced 12 models, ranging from 30 to 83 feet.
The brand has a world-renowned history of yacht building and supplying yachts globally, with strong sales across the US and Europe.
“Personally, Mark and I looked at the platform that Schaefer Yachts provides, the support and the quality of the build of these beautiful yachts and instantly knew this was something we had to bring back locally for Australians to enjoy,” said Young.
Based at d’Albora Marina, The Spit, Mosman, Schaefer Yachts Australia are now keen to expand nationally and appoint sub-dealers, with Coastwide Marine named first partner.
Coastwide Marine supports Coffs Harbour Marina, Port Macquarie Marina, Princes St Marina (Newport), Manly Boatshed, Blackwable Bay Marine, Castlecrag Marine, Cammeray Marina (Sydney Harbour) and Batemans Bay Marina.
