Arksen has officially launched the Arksen 8, the debut model in its Discovery Series, following its unveiling during the 2024 boat show season.
UK-based boatbuilder Arksen says the 8 is a vessel designed for adventure-oriented families, capable of delivering high performance alongside intelligent space utilisation.
The company has also released new imagery highlighting the vessel’s design and functionality.
The Arksen 8 is an 8-metre open RIB featuring a 2.9-metre beam and capacity for up to 12 passengers. The deck layout is optimised for ease of movement and ample storage, allowing for secure transport of equipment such as scuba gear and fishing rods. Built to support cross-channel and inter-island travel, it offers extended range and power to accommodate two families on a full day’s excursion.
The boat features a hydrodynamic hull design with a 24-degree deadrise deep V hull form, spray rails and an optimised forefoot to enhance stability and performance in varying sea conditions.
Rated for up to 500 hp, it can be configured with single or twin outboard engines and has a 495-litre fuel tank suitable for long-distance cruising.
The Arksen 8 includes multiple seating configurations, with bow seating for up to five passengers, a mid-ship wet bar and BBQ unit, and fold-up bench seats leading to the aft dining area.
The cabin is equipped with suspension pilot seats, a fully integrated dashboard and optional hardtop with an electrically opening roof. The internal heads compartment offers a private changing space, luxury amenities and additional storage.
