Greek boatbuilder Technohull has unveiled its new flagship Alpha 50 at the 2024 Palm Beach International Boat Show, which took place from 21 to 24 March in Florida.
For its US debut, Technohull unveiled the flagship Alpha 50 in total black, featuring triple Mercury V12 600 hp engines and a Seakeeper stabilisation system.
Also on display were two other vessels from the Lavrio-based shipyard – the Explorer 40 S, powered by twin Mercury 500R engines, and the Omega 47, which has a twin Mercury V12 600-hp configuration and was recently seen at the Miami International Boat Show.
Technohull is represented in the US by KMB Yachting. The boatbuilder says the new Technohull Alpha 50 is a groundbreaking design concept that remains true to the brand’s “high-performance DNA and distinctive design principles.”
This design, which incorporates generous exterior space and expansive lounging areas, is characterised by clean exterior lines and streamlined surfaces with a sharp silhouette.
The Alpha 50, which has an LOA of 14.95 metres (or 15.11 metres for the inboard version), has an aerodynamic hardtop with a full glass windshield, offering shelter and protection from the elements at high speeds.
The helm station features a board console housing digital management systems. The helm seat configuration includes double rows of triple shock-absorbing seats, upholstered in premium fabrics.
At the aft deck, an island sunbed arrangement accompanies various deck layouts that can be adjusted to owner preferences. The sunbed can be opened for extra storage.
Wide passageways lead to the spacious bow area, which boasts an expansive sunbed and a console seat.
A pantographic door at the side console leads to a cabin featuring an oversized double bed, ample storage and a separate head with a shower.
The Alpha 50 provides the flexibility of a cabin for two or a single crew cabin beneath the bow sunbed. It can carry up to 16 passengers by day.
The Technohull Alpha 50 features a semi-straight, wave-piercing bow hull design designed for performance. With Technohull’s patented Dynastream hull design, the Alpha 50 offers high speeds and good handling even in rough weather conditions. Its hull design enables high speeds with minimal fuel consumption, matching that of Technohull’s smaller models.
Engine options range from two to five outboard units, and inboard options include twin inboard diesels.
