The Italian Sea Group has laid the keel of the Admiral 50-metre superyacht at the shipyard in Carrara, Italy. The new vessel is the 607th yacht in the fleet and the latest addition to Admiral’s semi-custom series.
“The keel laying ceremony, a long-standing maritime tradition, is a special moment in the yacht construction as it begins to take solid shape,” says Giovanni Costantino, Founder and Chief Executive of The Italian Sea Group.
“It is a moment of great emotion, both for the shipyard and the owner team. The development of semi-custom production continues with enthusiasm, with a positioning always of the highest level.”
The Admiral 50-metre superyacht’s design is free from visual barriers. This creates fluidity between external and internal spaces, which are characterised by large volumes and structural details. The interiors use precious and natural materials such as wood, stones and rough metals.
A stand-out feature of the project is the layout of the guest cabins and the owner’s cabin. They are on the upper deck, offering open views on three sides and access to a private deck at the bow. All guest cabins are on the main deck and benefit from large hull windows.
The Admiral 50-metre yacht, with a volume of 499 gt, can accommodate up to 14+2 guests, thanks to the possibility of converting two additional lounges on the lower deck into extra cabins.
The Italian Sea Group specialises in constructing and refitting motor yachts and sailing yachts up to 140 metres. The company, led by Italian entrepreneur Giovanni Costantino, operates on the market with the Admiral, Tecnomar, Perini Navi and Picchiotti brands.
The firm also has a business unit named NCA Refit that manages the maintenance and refit services for yachts over 60 metres.
