The Cannes Yachting Festival has appointed Constance Brément as deputy director, working alongside show director Sylvie Ernoult. This leadership transition comes as Europe’s biggest in-water event prepares for its 2025 edition from September 9 to 14.
“Constance has a lot of professional experience in the yachting sector and will contribute with her expertise and strategic vision to strengthen the festival’s position as the European leader in in-water boat shows,” says Ernoult. “Our time working together this coming year will provide the perfect platform from which she can take the bar when I retire.”
Brément, a graduate of the Neoma business school in France, began her career as a key account manager before moving into senior roles in marketing and communications across the luxury and yachting sectors. In 2014, she was appointed communications and operational marketing director for the Bénéteau Group.
“I am delighted to join the Cannes Yachting Festival and contribute to its international reach. I look forward to working alongside Sylvie and the whole team to build the show’s strategy together, focus on innovation and give exhibitors and visitors an unforgettable experience,” says Brément.
The Cannes Yachting Festival returns to Vieux Port and Port Canto this year. The 2024 edition featured 640 exhibitors, 700 boats ranging from 5 to 45 metres, and 120 world premieres, attracting 55,000 visitors.
RX, the company behind the festival, organises events across 42 industry sectors in 25 countries, hosting approximately 350 events annually.
RX France, a division of RX, manages a portfolio that includes MIPIM, MAPIC, Batimat, and Maison&Objet, among others.
