Silent Yachts will introduce the first Silent 62 3-Deck at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024, which takse place from 10 to 15 September. This full-electric catamaran, which utilises advanced solar-powered technology, is designed to offer an emission-free experience on the water.

The Silent 62 3-Deck will be available for viewing in its Open version at the festival. This 18.88-metre model is optimised for outdoor living and warm climate sailing, featuring an upper deck that functions as a flybridge with space for dining and lounging. This layout demonstrates the design’s versatility.

Silent Yachts will have its stand at Vieux Port QML 178, with visits to the catamarans available at QML 009.

In addition to the Open version, an enclosed upper deck version is also available. Both versions include a 50-square-metre main deck saloon with large windows, a fully equipped kitchen, and a dining area. The main deck exterior covers 80 square metres, incorporating an aft cockpit suitable for alfresco dining and a foredeck lounge with panoramic views.

The Silent 62 3-Deck incorporates Silent Yachts’ catamaran hull design and a solar electric drivetrain, eliminating fumes, emissions, and noise.

The drivetrain is powered by liquid-cooled batteries that offer higher energy density, increased capacity, and faster charging times due to optimised thermal management.

The yacht is equipped with a 16.8 kWp solar array, twin 180 kW E-motors, and a 286 kWh lithium-ion battery pack. It also features a 145 kW peak range extender, allowing a cruising speed of 6-8 knots and enabling transoceanic travel.

The yacht has a draft of 1.24 metres and can accommodate four to six guest cabins, depending on the owner’s preferences, along with six bathrooms.

The third deck, measuring 60 square metres, is available in three configurations: an open sky lounge, a closed sky lounge, and a closed owner’s suite variation. A “front exit” option allows direct access to the foredeck from the main saloon.
