Baselworld, the world’s most important show for watches, jewellery and gems, opens its gates on Thursday.

Taking place in the Messe Basel exhibition centre in Switzerland, Baselworld brings together the industry’s top players under one roof. Five of the six highest-revenue Swiss watch companies fete global premieres of their latest products here; leading jewellery and gemstone companies likewise present their new creations and rarities to the public for the first time.

expect brilliant new pieces from brands including Rolex, Omega, Tudor and Tag Heuer.

Rolex are bringing with them three Master watches; GMT Master II in “Oystersteel”, the GMT Master II Everose Rolesor and the GMT Master II Everose (the first ever model in 18ct Everose gold).

Chopard will display their Quattro L.U.C, made from rose gold.
