Along with a full range of Twin Disc marine transmission, gearbox electronic Joystick systems and electronic positioning systems, there will be demonstrations and displays showcasing the Seatorque Marine propulsion and Seakeeper Stabilisation products.

Visitors will be able to see the Seakeeper in action both in the model boat tank and aboard the 32ft Matilda Bay motor yacht that has a Seakeeper 3 installed.

As Trevor Tucker, Sales Manager explains: “We will be welcoming visitors aboard the Matilda Bay and watching their amazement as the Seakeeper goes to work and the boat is stabilised.

“Seakeeper eliminates up to 95 percent of boat roll, which is great for guest comfort and safety onboard. Each Seakeeper comes with a 2-year factory certified warranty and our guarantee of after-sale service nationally.”

Adding to the experience, Twin Disc will extend visitors’ hands-on appreciation of its EJS and EPS systems during short jaunts onboard the Twin Disc company boat, the Riviera 47, Revolution, in the new on-water demo area in Cockle Bay.

“Qualified visitors can experience for themselves the benefits of the Twin Disc joystick, quickshift transmission and positioning system, while appreciating the stability thanks to the Seakeeper 9 installed,” says Trevor.

“This year, Twin Disc is fully immersed in the Sydney Boat Show, to commemorate the event’s 50th anniversary, and to continue the momentum from a successful Sanctuary Cove Boat Show.

“There is certainly an upturn in the market. SIBS is a great opportunity for people interested in the boating lifestyle to see these new products and systems and meet the team. Twin Disc will have six experts on hand to run you through all the attributes of each product line.”

Visitors to the Twin Disc demonstration boat and marquee will have plenty of reasons to sign up for the regular e-newsletter. Along with access to new product information and special offers, you will go into the running to win a trip for 2 to Neptune Island, Port Lincoln to cage dive with great white sharks aboard the 65-foot Calypso Star II (fitted with Seakeeper M26000 gyro stabilizer), including accommodation and airfares, thanks to Calypso Star Charters Shark Cage Diving.
