Leading proponents of the hospitality industry, event organisers and journalists shared a serne sunset cruise on board a 37-metre charter yacht around Sydney harbour.

The Chateau Royal is a 4-star beachfront resort based in Nouméa, New Caledonia.

The event showcased the property and confirmed its strong positioning in the Australian market, which annually represents 40 percent of guests to the property.

As well as 110 suites, the property offers six meeting spaces, including a 350-metre-square ballroom and stunning outdoor area with 1.5 hectares of tropical park, both facing the lagoon.

The Chateau Royal also offers yachting activities with two boats entirely dedicated to offer an outstanding discovery of Nouméa and South New Caledonia.

This includes IROUE, a 24-metre yacht and the only accredited charter yacht in New Caledonia.

Chateau Royal aims to be unique and creative, thus organising a tailor-made cocktail gathering to convey the strategy of the resort and yachting activities all in a relaxed atmosphere with a special touch of French gastronomy.

A highlight of the evening was Jenny Seagoe, President of New Caledonia Chamber of Commerce and Industry, presenting the Hotel Group’s background.

Group clients of the Chateau Royal said a few words including Mr Thierry Fayard (NSW & ACT State Manager of Haircare, Australia) mentioning that the resort was the “best hotel in the world” for their annual Business Summit for 32 years and Mrs Caroline Brunel (Marketing Director, Entire Travel Group) who looked after the Wallabies training camp 2019 held at Chateau Royal last August and September.
