Australian luxury motor yacht builder, Riviera, will present the World Premieres of two new models – the sporty and adventurous 395 SUV and the magnificent 72 Sports Motor Yacht – as part of a major red-carpet display at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show in Queensland beginning on 24 May 2018.

The on-water display will also showcase a range of models from Riviera’s unique collections, the sophisticated Sport Yachts, blue-water Flybridges, the SUVs and the timeless classic Belize models.

Riviera owner Rodney Longhurst said: “We are thrilled to present two World Premieres at the 30th anniversary Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.

“The sporty and adventurous new 395 SUV offers exceptional boating options, combining the single-level entertaining that is in the DNA of our popular Sport Yacht collection with the wide open cockpits and go-anywhere attributes of our classic blue-water flybridge collection.

“We have also introduced a number of innovations that reflect Riviera’s commitment to continuous improvement.

“She features an entirely new hull and deck design and raised bulwarks on the side decks to provide an additional level of security when moving forward or aft.”

Mr Longhurst said the wide open cockpit is perfectly designed for relaxing and entertaining or as the perfect platform for any water sports. A comprehensive barbecue centre is set across the transom, facing forward and accessed from the swim platform.

“Sunlovers will also enjoy the foredeck that can take a large sunlounge,” he said.

“The 395 SUV offers two generous staterooms and a large bathroom on the accommodation deck as well as a spacious saloon with a fully-equipped aft galley, dinette opposite and a forward helm to port. Sunroof hatches are set on the port and starboard sides of the SUV hardtop, above the helm and forward lounge.”

Power for the 395 SUV comes from twin Volvo Penta D6 IPS 500 turbo diesel engines providing 272kw (370hp) with IPS 10 drive units. With Riviera, all Volvo Penta systems and drives are covered by an industry-leading five-year limited warranty to complement the Riviera five-year limited structural warranty.

The Riviera 72 Sports Motor Yacht has been designed to offer the exhilaration of sports performance with luxurious comforts for superior offshore and extended cruising capabilities, delivering whisper-quiet performance and super-smooth running at speed.

From an expansive cockpit offering everything for the sports fisher and water sports enthusiast to a massive entertainer’s foredeck and alfresco dining opportunities with an elevated and covered mezzanine, this is a motor yacht that delivers the ultimate on-board experience.

In the main saloon, the U-shaped aft galley is designed to cater for the chef’s every requirement. The plush saloon forward features a large lounge to port and a leather dinette to starboard.

An wide internal timber staircase with deep treads leading to the flybridge has been designed for ease of movement.  A state-of-the-art forward helm station is complemented by guest lounges and an expansive aft deck.

The accommodation deck offers two stateroom options; the four-cabin Classic or the three-cabin Presidential with full-beam master stateroom.

A day head and crew quarters or utility room with direct access to the engine room is accessed from a staircase on the port side of the mezzanine.

Power for the Riviera 72 Sports Motor Yacht is provided by twin MAN V12 1800 or 1900 turbo diesel engines delivering 1,800 hp (1,324 kW) or 1,900 hp (1,397 kW).
