A buoyant local market and high demand for products and services have motivated Twin Disc Pacific to commit considerable investment in the opening of a dedicated Gold Coast facility at The Boat Works, Coomera.
Located at the entrance of the thriving Gold Coast Marine Precinct, the Twin Disc Pacific Seakeeper Experience Centre comprises over 600 square metres of state-of-the-art showroom with interactive displays of the latest Twin Disc, Seakeeper and Seatorque product ranges, along with warehouse and workshop facilities. A comfortable client lounge for meetings and light refreshments will enable visitors to immerse themselves in the product lines.
The Revolution and Haines Signature Seakeeper demo boats will be based at the marina for in-water demonstrations.
There will be qualified sales and service staff on-site, led by Branch Manager, Scott Redman, his Gold Coast based team and several new appointments joining Twin Disc Pacific in the coming months.
“The local market has shown great growth for a number of years and the local manufacturers are continuing to see considerable growth, which has assisted with our decision to invest heavily into the biggest local and national market,” said Twin Disc Pacific Managing Director, Glenn Frettingham.
“Strong acceptance of the Twin Disc, Seakeeper and Seatorque product ranges in new boat builds, refits, commercial marine and the industrial markets gives us further confidence to expand and move into customised premises.”
“The busy waterfront facility will allow us to continue to innovate, design and develop new products that help our organisation to grow further locally and internationally.”
Commenting on the addition of Twin Disc Pacific and its brands to The Boat Works retinue, General Manager, Shane Subichin said “The Twin Disc offering is unique, and the Experience Centre is the ideal way of showcasing the Twin Disc range, Seakeeper stabilizer and Seatorque products. We are thrilled at these globally respected brands establishing a Gold Coast headquarters at The Boat Works.
“With a high-profile street frontage, the Twin Disc Pacific Experience Centre will attract increased visitor traffic from boat owners and boat builders.”
The brand-new facility will open in time for the 2019 Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show.
