In the wake of the Navetta 37’s delivery, the latest Custom Line model, the 33-metre Navetta 33, has been launched at the Ferretti Group’s Ancona facility and is setting sail for Ibiza. Once it has arrived at the Balearic Island, the Navetta 33 will have a glittering two-day summer preview at high-profile nightclub Liò, Ibiza Marina and Experimental Beach on 29 and 30 July.

The Navetta series of models is blazing a trail in contemporary semi-displacement luxury yachts for Custom Line, representing the builder’s ‘new generation’ of designs. The latest launch is the first of five units that have already been ordered ahead of the official presentation.

The Navetta series is the result of a creative collaboration between the Product Strategy Committee spearheaded by Piero Ferrari, Zuccon International Project naval architects and the Ferretti Group’s engineering department. The design of the new model continues the evolution from the Navetta 37, with new innovations.

The high-performance naval architecture includes a bulbous bow with stable hull and estimated range of 2,000 nautical miles (economical cruising speed). Across the Navetta 33’s four decks, owners will find light-filled social spaces, a panoramic terrace on the starboard main deck, an expansive owner’s suite on the main deck forward, and four further guest suites. The yacht has been designed to offer both convivial, light-filled spaces as well as areas for private reflection, such as the sundeck with swimming pool and sun pad.

From a technical perspective, the integrated helm station offers safe monitoring of the systems and equipment while the flexible joint in the transmission lines provides a reduced level of vibration and noise. Electro-hydraulic stabilising fins come as standard on the Navetta 33, and a Seakeeper gyro stabiliser can be fitted on request. Engine options include the MAN 1,400hp, MAN 1,600hp or Caterpillar 1,622hp variants.

As well as the 33-metre and 37-metre models, the range includes the Navetta 28 and the Navetta 42, which is currently in development with the first unit already sold.

The Navetta 33 will define the nautical landscape in the years to come with its irresistible beauty. Thanks to its special charm and its innovative features, cutting-edge technology and superior design, it outclasses every other boat within the same category. I am not surprised that we have already sold five units ahead of its presentation,” Alberto Galassi, Ferretti Group CEO, commented on the launch.

For those who can’t make it to Ibiza for the preview later this month, the Navetta will also be on display at the Ferretti Group’s Private Preview on the quay of the Yacht Club de Monaco from 8 to 10 September, as well as the Cannes and Monaco Yacht Shows later in the month.
