Nautor’s Swan appoints new commercial team for German and Austrian Markets.

As a further move to strengthen its internal organisation and focus on key markets, Nautor’s Swan has decided to invest directly in the German and Austrian markets, announcing the appointment of Thorsten Flack as Area Sales Director and Britta Bunkenburg as Market Development Director, to manage its commercial operations in these territories.
Having spent over 7 years in senior commercial roles at Oyster Yachts before joining custom superyacht yard Royal Huisman, the Hamburg-based brother and sister team will be responsible for sales and regional marketing of Nautor’s three distinct product lines – Swan Yachts, ClubSwan Yachts and Maxi Swans, reporting to Northern European Director Barry Ashmore.

“The decision to oversee directly these markets marks a new chapter for Nautor in Germany and Austria and Thorsten and Britta will be a dedicated point of reference, marketing and selling new Swan yachts across our full range. Our valued partner Flensburger Yacht Services will remain our Approved Service Centre for Swan Yachts based in Northern Germany”.
Speaking of their appointment Thorsten added “We are thrilled to be joining Nautor, the most renowned yacht brand in the world and particularly at the start of such an exciting year.
We have long admired Swan yachts and we can’t wait to get started. The upcoming Düsseldorf Boat Show will be the perfect opportunity for us to meet existing owners and new clients alike”.
2017 closed in an exceptional way for Nautor’s Swan with the second Swan 65 and hulls 3 and 4 of the new Swan 78 sold in December alone. 2018 is therefore set to be a very busy year with the new high-performance racing ClubSwan 125 build well underway, two Swan 78’s planned for launch in the Spring plus the latest Swan 54’s and ClubSwan 50 to be completed. Nautor’s Swan continue to demonstrate their credentials for building sublime performance cruising yachts and for pushing the frontiers into the most innovative and advanced racing yachts.
