The Invictus Yacht quatix 5 comes with twin wristbands: in leather with contrasting stitches to emphasize the characteristic craftsmanship of the yard, or a classic silicon strap, easily interchangeable depending on how the watch will be worn or upon the day’s styling needs. The leather strap with the Invictus symbol reminds the user of the elegant travel accessories made by Invictus Yacht and completes the unique styling line of the Italian brand to accompany you throughout the day, not only onboard.

With a 47mm diameter case and a 1.2” display, the quantix 5 is elegant and compact, a combination of sport and casual styling that’s perfect to wear both aboard and in the office. The quatix 5 is also a smartwatch: the LiveTrack function, Smart Notifications and Connect IQTM let you personalise the watch face, data fields, widgets and other activities.

The new quatix 5 also comes complete with Garmin ElevateTM software to measure your pulse rate, an important piece of data for your daily 24/7 physical activity, and the innovative QuickFitTM technology to rapidly release the wristband.

The quatix 5 connects in wireless to multifunction chart plotters or compatible Garmin Marine displays, letting you control the numerous onboard sensors connected to your vessel’s NMEA 2000 network: boat speed, depth, temperature, wind, and many others.

But the quatix 5’s full capacities are fully exploited when connected to the autopilot GHC 20. Here you can use the watch to activate the autopilot, change or follow a course, all directly from your wrist. The quatix 5 also simplifies waypoint creation: thanks to a special button, from anywhere on your vessel you can designate a specific point on your compatible Garmin chart plotter with the watch.

Before leaving harbour, you can download the relevant tide tables using your smartphone and consult them as needed on your smartwatch. The quatix 5 also has indispensable functions regarding data useful for sailing, both in regatta or just while training. It is so easy to create a virtual starting line and synchronise it with the regatta timer for perfect starts, giving you the time and distance to the line.

Thanks to the widescreen display, backlit using LED’s for perfect readability in any conditions, your data is easily consulted in any light.

The quatix 5 is waterproof to a depth of 100 meters and comes equipped with a state-of-the-art EXOTM antenna for rapid and efficient GPS/GLONASS reception.

Thanks to it’s powerful interior battery, the quatix 5 guarantees up to two weeks of charge in smartwatch mode, up to 60 hours in UltraTrac mode and up to 24 hours in the GPS active mode.

Considerable attention has been paid to safety questions: the smartwatch includes a special MOB (man overboard) button that creates a MOB waypoint on the Garmin Marine chart plotter to better locate the lost crew. The watch also includes an anchor alarm to notify the user if the yacht has moved more than a certain distance from a predetermined point.

The quatix 5 also includes an electronic compass that indicates the vessels heading even when stopped, an automatically calibrated altimeter, and a barometer for short term weather forecasting using atmospheric pressure. These sensors are calibrated by means of an internal GPS receiver which also gives the correct time depending on the vessel’s position.

The quatix 5 also features multi-sport functions for golf, SUP, kayaking, swimming, skiing, running, excursions and much, much more.

It also works as a fitness band, providing the wearer with daily step counts, total distance covered, calories burned, stair-step counting, hours of sleep, calories consumed during specific sporting activity, all measured against a daily objective. All this data is handled by the Garmin ConnectTM app and lets you keep track of your data over time.
