Silversea invites guests will soon experience the breathtaking landscapes and unrivalled beauty of New Zealand and Australia aboard Silver Muse during its inaugural sailing to this part of the world.  With four cruise ships departing in January and February 2019, guests can travel between Sydney, Auckland and Bali on voyages ranging from 13 to 19 days. Passengers can simultaneously unearth the very best of down under and enjoy the elegant and luxurious style of Silversea’s newest flagship vessel. Silver Muse was built by Fincantieri and at 40 700 grt, accommodates 596 guests. It enhances the small ship intimacy and spacious all suite accommodations that are the hallmarks of the Silversea experience.

Voyages on board the Silver Muse will transport guests through remote regions of pure beauty, creating an unforgettable journey, which will delight even the most seasoned traveller.

Managing Director of Silversea Cruises in the Asia-Pacific, Amber Wilson, said, “following the launch of Silver Muse in April this year, we are thrilled that she will be making her inaugural visit to Australia in December 2018, before travelling on to Auckland in January and February 2019, offering guests the chance to discover the stunning beauty of New Zealand in the complete luxury of our newest flagship vessel.”

“The itineraries have been carefully crafted by our in-house team of experts, providing guests with the opportunity to discover an intriguing combination of rugged mountains, sparkling rivers, thundering waterfalls and cosmopolitan evenings.  From the buzzing café culture of Melbourne to the award-winning wines of Wellington, guests will be awed at the beauty they encounter.”

The dynamic itineraries take in the rocky beauty of New Zealand’s fjord country along with the antipodean towns of Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland.  Guests will be taken through the Fjord land National Park, one of New Zealand’s premier attractions, where they will discover rugged mountain ranges, dense rainforest, solitary alpine lakes, sparkling rivers and splashing waterfalls.

Some of the highlights of these voyages include: cruising the beautiful Doubtful and Milford Sounds; Kangaroo Island, home to native wildlife such as sea lions, koalas and diverse bird species; Stewart Island, home to New Zealand’s newest national park, Rakiura National Park; Port Chalmers (Dunedin), home to the Royal Albatross and yellow-eyed penguins; and Napier, set amid the renowned wine-producing region of Hawke’s Bay and known for its art deco landmarks such as the zigzag-patterned Daily Telegraph Building.

Following three sailings between Sydney and Auckland, Silver Muse will depart Auckland on a 19-day voyage to Bali. Passengers will be able to take in the sights of Sydney, Adelaide and Western Australia before arriving in Indonesia.
