Luciano Facchini is a new Italian designer, who is also a motorcycle fanatic. Inspiration from the sleek and minimal style of a race motorcycle is evident in his distinctly Italian 24-metre and 45-metre Aldebaran designs.

These luxury high performance boat concepts were created in collaboration with the industrial designer Lucio Tonucci and Luis Felipe Rocco.

The designer said he aims to produce the projects entirely in Italy and has already pinpointed several potential partners.

Both the 24-metre and 45-metre Aldebaran are designed for those looking for a distinctive product with minimal lines and open interior plans.

The glass dome is a particulraly special feature where light makes the interior seem ultra spacious.

The lounge area flows onto the stern. Furnishings will be Italian crafted Italian wood and leather – all customisable, of course. New technology on the bridge includes voice control commands.

The designer is also looking at developing an environmentally-friendly electric motor.
